Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Welcome to ReelThrift (“ReelThrift,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application, website, or any related services (collectively, the “Platform”). It also describes the choices you have regarding your information and how you can contact us about privacy concerns.

By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in this Privacy Policy and in our Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not access or use the Platform.

This Privacy Policy applies to all users—including buyers, sellers, parents or legal guardians who manage accounts for minors, and any other visitors who access our services.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, or legal obligations. When we make changes, we will post the revised version and update the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we may provide additional notice (such as through email or in-app notification). Your continued use of ReelThrift after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.

THIS PRIVACY POLICY FORMS AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE REELTHRIFT TERMS OF SERVICE, AND THE TWO DOCUMENTS SHOULD BE READ TOGETHER. THE TERMS OF SERVICE ARE HEREBY INCORPORATED INTO THIS PRIVACY POLICY AS IF FULLY SET FORTH HEREIN. BY ACCESSING OR USING THE PLATFORM, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOUR USE IS SUBJECT TO BOTH THIS PRIVACY POLICY AND THE TERMS OF SERVICE, INCLUDING PROVISIONS GOVERNING USER CONDUCT, INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY, AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION.

If you have any questions about this Policy or our privacy practices, you can reach us at support@reelthrift.com.

2. Who We Are

ReelThrift is an online and mobile video marketplace where users can buy and sell fashion, accessories, shoes, home décor, collectibles, and books through short video content. The Platform enables users to create, share, and interact with video listings in a social, community-driven environment.

ReelThrift is operated by a U.S.-based business currently located in New Jersey. Our contact details are as follows:

Business Name: ReelThriftEmail: support@reelthrift.comMailing Address: 3 Crestview Lane, Sparta, New Jersey 07871, USA

At this time, ReelThrift operates solely within the United States. Users outside the U.S. who choose to access or use the Platform acknowledge that their information will be processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of their home country.

3. Eligibility and Parental Supervision

ReelThrift is a community-driven marketplace designed primarily for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By accessing or using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement under applicable law. Users under the age of 18 may participate in limited circumstances, but only under the direct supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian who assumes full responsibility for the account. The parent or guardian must create and register the account in their own name, provide accurate identifying and financial information, and ensure that all activity conducted through the account complies with this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service.

ReelThrift does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. The Platform is not directed toward children, and the creation of accounts or the submission of personal data by anyone under 13 is strictly prohibited. If ReelThrift becomes aware that an account has been created by or on behalf of a child under 13, or that such a child has otherwise provided personal information, we will promptly delete the account and take steps to remove the associated data from our systems. Parents or guardians who believe that their child has used the Platform or provided personal data without authorization should contact us immediately at support@reelthrift.com so that appropriate action can be taken.

For teens aged 13 to 17, access to the Platform is permitted only through an account that is owned, registered, and managed by a parent or legal guardian. This includes ensuring that all financial and payout information—such as bank or Stripe account details—are maintained in the parent’s name. The parent or guardian must actively supervise the teen’s use of the Platform, monitor all content uploaded, and oversee all communications and transactions that occur through the account. By allowing a minor to use their account, the parent or guardian accepts full legal and financial responsibility for all activity, including any items sold, content posted, or communications sent through the Platform.

ReelThrift reserves the right to verify age and parental consent when necessary to ensure compliance with this policy and applicable laws, including the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We may suspend or terminate any account that violates these age or consent requirements. Parents or guardians may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information related to their teen’s account by contacting support@reelthrift.com

By using ReelThrift, parents and guardians acknowledge that they are responsible for managing and monitoring their teen’s use of the Platform and for ensuring that all content and activity comply with community standards, applicable laws, and this Privacy Policy.

4. Information We Collect

When you use ReelThrift, we collect information to help operate, improve, and secure our Platform, facilitate transactions between buyers and sellers, and provide you with a safe and personalized experience. The information we collect generally falls into three categories: information you provide directly to us, information collected automatically through your use of the Platform, and information we receive from third parties that support our operations.

We collect information that you voluntarily provide when creating or managing your account, uploading content, making or receiving payments, or communicating with us. This includes your name, email address, and login credentials, along with optional profile information such as a username, bio, or profile photo. When you upload videos, photos, item listings, descriptions, comments, or other materials to the Platform, we collect and store that content. If you engage in transactions, we collect related details such as the items purchased or sold, the amounts paid, and delivery confirmations. Sensitive financial information—such as credit card or bank account numbers—is not stored by ReelThrift; all payment processing is securely handled by our third-party provider, Stripe. We also collect information from your communications with customer support and when you participate in surveys, promotions, or marketing programs that you choose to opt into.

In addition to the information you provide directly, we automatically collect certain data about how you access and use ReelThrift. This includes technical information such as your device type, operating system, browser, IP address, and other device identifiers, as well as usage data like pages or screens viewed, time spent in the app, listings or videos interacted with, and referring URLs. We may also use cookies, analytics tools, and similar technologies (such as SDKs and tracking pixels) to gather information about how users engage with the Platform. This helps us analyze performance, detect and prevent fraud, troubleshoot issues, and improve functionality and user experience.

We may also receive limited information about you from third parties that help us operate the Platform. This includes payment processors like Stripe (for transaction confirmations and payouts), analytics providers such as Firebase (for performance and engagement metrics), and marketing or communication partners (for sending notifications and managing email preferences). If you use a third-party login or authentication service, we may receive certain information such as your name, profile image, or contact details from that service in accordance with their privacy settings.

ReelThrift does not collect or store complete payment card or banking information. All financial data is transmitted directly to and securely stored by our payment processor, Stripe, which handles such information in compliance with applicable data security standards.

5. How We Use Your Information

ReelThrift uses the information it collects to operate, maintain, and improve the Platform, to enable secure transactions between buyers and sellers, and to create a safe and engaging experience for all users. We process your personal information primarily to provide the services you request—such as account creation, profile management, content uploads, communications, and payment processing—and to fulfill our contractual and legal obligations.

We use your account and contact information to identify you as a registered user, allow you to log in, and communicate with you about your activity on the Platform. This includes sending confirmations, notifications, and other transactional messages related to purchases, sales, or account updates. Your information also allows us to facilitate payments and payouts through our third-party processor, Stripe, and to handle order verification and delivery confirmations. Because ReelThrift serves as a platform rather than the seller of goods, we rely on accurate account and transaction data to ensure that buyers and sellers can complete exchanges smoothly and securely.

We may also use your information to personalize and improve the user experience. This includes analyzing how users navigate and interact with the Platform, enhancing features, developing new tools or functions, and fixing technical issues. Information gathered through analytics providers such as Firebase helps us understand usage trends, detect fraudulent activity, and maintain the reliability and performance of our systems.

If you choose to opt in to marketing or promotional communications, we may use your contact details to send you updates, newsletters, or information about new features, events, and special offers. You can opt out of these communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions included in our emails or by contacting support@reelthrift.com.

We also use information for administrative and legal purposes, including enforcing our Terms of Service, protecting our rights and property, resolving disputes, preventing fraud or abuse, and complying with legal obligations such as record-keeping, tax reporting, or responding to lawful requests from authorities.

In short, the information we collect enables ReelThrift to provide essential platform functionality, maintain trust and safety, improve our services, communicate effectively with users, and comply with our legal and contractual responsibilities.

6. How We Share Your Information

ReelThrift may share limited personal information with trusted third parties to operate, maintain, and improve the Platform, process transactions, and ensure the safety and integrity of our community. We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration, and we only disclose personal data as reasonably necessary for legitimate business purposes, as permitted under applicable law.

We share information with service providers and contractors that perform essential business functions on our behalf. These include payment processors such as Stripe, which securely handles all payment and payout transactions; analytics providers such as Firebase, which help us monitor performance and user engagement; and cloud hosting, security, and customer support vendors that assist in operating and maintaining the Platform. Each of these entities is bound by a written agreement that limits their use of personal information to the specific business purposes for which it is disclosed, prohibits retention, use, or disclosure of the data for any other purpose, and requires them to maintain appropriate confidentiality and security safeguards consistent with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and other applicable laws.

ReelThrift may also share information with marketing and advertising partners to support limited, first-party promotional and communications activities, such as sending notifications about new features, special events, or updates to the Platform. These partners process data solely on our behalf and are not permitted to use or disclose the information for independent marketing or cross-context behavioral advertising. ReelThrift does not engage in targeted advertising across unaffiliated websites or apps, and we do not “share” personal information for the purpose of cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the CPRA. If our marketing practices change in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide users with the right to opt out where required by law.

We may disclose personal information when necessary to comply with legal or regulatory obligations, respond to lawful requests from public authorities or courts, protect the rights, property, or safety of ReelThrift and its users, prevent fraud or abuse, or enforce our Terms of Service and other agreements. Additionally, if ReelThrift undergoes a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the same data protection commitments described in this Privacy Policy.

In limited circumstances, we may share aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you. Such data may be used for research, analytics, or business development purposes consistent with applicable law.

By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that ReelThrift may share your information in these ways to provide a secure, lawful, and reliable service. We take reasonable steps to ensure that all third parties receiving personal information maintain confidentiality and data protection standards consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.

7. User-Generated Content

ReelThrift allows users to create and share short videos, product listings, photos, descriptions, and other materials (“User-Generated Content” or “Content”) within the Platform. You retain ownership of all intellectual property rights in the Content you create and upload. However, BY SUBMITTING, POSTING, OR DISPLAYING CONTENT ON OR THROUGH THE PLATFORM, YOU GRANT REELTHRIFT A NON-EXCLUSIVE, WORLDWIDE, ROYALTY-FREE, TRANSFERABLE, AND SUBLICENSABLE LICENSE TO USE, HOST, STORE, REPRODUCE, MODIFY, ADAPT, PUBLISH, TRANSLATE, DISTRIBUTE, PUBLICLY PERFORM, PUBLICLY DISPLAY, AND OTHERWISE UTILIZE THAT CONTENT IN ANY MEDIA FORMAT NOW KNOWN OR LATER DEVELOPED. This license is limited to operating, promoting, and improving the Platform and to marketing or advertising ReelThrift’s services, including through social media, email, and other promotional channels.

You understand that your Content may be viewed by other users and may be shared publicly within the ReelThrift community or through external marketing campaigns. ReelThrift may edit, crop, or adapt your Content for display purposes or promotional use, provided that such modifications do not materially distort or misrepresent the original work. You acknowledge that any Content you post is done voluntarily and at your own discretion and that you are solely responsible for ensuring that your submissions comply with all applicable laws, intellectual property rights, and community guidelines.

ReelThrift reserves the right, but not the obligation, to monitor, remove, or restrict access to any Content that violates our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or applicable law, or that we deem harmful, misleading, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate. We may also suspend or terminate accounts associated with repeated or severe violations. While we strive to maintain a safe and respectful community, users should be aware that Content posted by others may not reflect the views or values of ReelThrift.

By uploading or submitting Content, you acknowledge and agree that other users may interact with, comment on, or share your listings and videos as part of the ordinary use of the Platform. If you delete Content or close your account, ReelThrift will make reasonable efforts to remove it from active display; however, residual copies may remain in backup systems or in materials that have already been distributed or used for promotional purposes prior to deletion.

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

ReelThrift uses cookies, mobile SDKs, and other tracking technologies to help operate and improve the Platform, personalize user experiences, and analyze performance. Cookies are small data files that are placed on your device or browser when you visit or use the Platform. They enable features such as remembering your login information, maintaining your session, keeping your shopping activity consistent, and helping us understand how users interact with the Platform.

We use several types of cookies and related technologies for different purposes. Essential cookies are required for the Platform to function properly, such as enabling account login and secure transactions. Analytics cookies help us measure and understand how users engage with the Platform, what listings are viewed, which features are most used, and how navigation can be improved. Functional cookies remember user preferences, such as language or display settings, to create a smoother experience. Marketing and performance cookies may be used to deliver more relevant advertisements and to measure the effectiveness of promotional campaigns.

In addition to cookies, we may use software development kits (SDKs) and similar tools within our mobile application that perform comparable tracking functions. These technologies, provided by analytics and advertising partners such as Firebase or Google Analytics, allow us to analyze user behavior, detect technical issues, and enhance app stability and performance. These partners may collect information such as your device type, operating system, IP address, and in-app interactions.

Most browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can modify your settings to decline or delete them if you prefer. Disabling cookies may, however, limit certain functionality or prevent parts of the Platform from operating correctly. If you use our mobile application, your device’s operating system may allow you to control whether analytics or advertising identifiers are shared.

By using the Platform, you consent to our use of cookies and similar tracking technologies as described in this Policy. For more information about how we use analytics or advertising services, or to withdraw consent where applicable, you may contact us at support@reelthrift.com.

9. Data Retention

ReelThrift retains personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide services to users, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. The specific retention period depends on the type of data collected and the purpose for which it is used.

We retain account information—such as your name, email address, and transaction history—while your account remains active so that you can access your listings, purchase history, and payment records. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legitimate business or legal reasons, such as to comply with tax laws, prevent fraud, or respond to disputes.

User-generated content, such as videos or listings, may remain available for a limited time after deletion or account closure if it has already been shared publicly or used in promotional materials. Residual copies of deleted information may also remain in system backups for a limited duration before being permanently removed. These backups are maintained solely for security and disaster recovery purposes and are not accessible for routine operational use.

ReelThrift periodically reviews its retention practices to ensure compliance with applicable privacy laws and data protection standards. When personal data is no longer required for any purpose described in this Policy, we take steps to securely delete, de-identify, or aggregate it so that it can no longer be linked to an individual.

10. Data Security

ReelThrift takes reasonable and appropriate measures to protect the personal information we collect against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. We employ a combination of administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to secure data throughout its lifecycle. These measures include encryption of data in transit, limited employee access to personal information, secure server environments, and ongoing monitoring to detect potential security vulnerabilities or unauthorized activities.

All financial transactions on the Platform are processed through Stripe, our third-party payment provider, which complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) and maintains its own stringent security protocols. REELTHRIFT DOES NOT STORE OR HAVE ACCESS TO COMPLETE PAYMENT CARD OR BANKING INFORMATION. Sensitive financial data is transmitted directly to Stripe using encrypted connections.

Despite our efforts to maintain strong security, no online service or data transmission can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for restricting access to their devices to prevent unauthorized use. We encourage you to choose a strong password, log out after each session, and notify us immediately at support@reelthrift.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

In the event of a data breach or security incident involving personal information, ReelThrift will take prompt action to investigate, mitigate harm, and notify affected individuals and authorities as required by applicable law. We continually review and update our data protection practices to adapt to evolving security standards and emerging threats.

11. Your Choices and Rights

ReelThrift believes that users should have meaningful control over their personal information. Depending on where you live and how you use the Platform, you may have certain rights regarding your data, including the ability to access, correct, delete, or limit the use of your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent for optional data uses, such as marketing communications.

You can access and update most of your account details directly through the Platform by logging into your profile. If you wish to delete your account entirely, you may submit a request to support@reelthrift.com, and we will take reasonable steps to remove your personal data from active systems within a commercially reasonable period, subject to any legal retention obligations described in Section 9. Once deleted, your account and associated information cannot be restored.

If you receive marketing or promotional emails from ReelThrift, you may opt out at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link included in each email or by contacting us directly. Please note that even if you opt out of promotional communications, we may still send you transactional or administrative messages related to your account or activity on the Platform.

You may also request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask that we correct inaccurate data, or object to certain types of processing, such as profiling for analytics or marketing. To protect your privacy, we may require you to verify your identity before fulfilling any such request. We will respond to all valid inquiries in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

For parents or legal guardians managing teen accounts, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with your teen’s use of the Platform. Such requests should also be directed to support@reelthrift.com.

By using ReelThrift, you acknowledge that certain data collection and processing are necessary to provide core features such as account functionality, secure payments, and content moderation. Where consent is required, you may withdraw it at any time, though doing so may limit your ability to fully use the Platform.

California and State-Specific Privacy Rights

If you reside in California or another U.S. state with comprehensive privacy legislation—such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, or Utah—you may have additional rights regarding your personal information. These rights supplement the disclosures in this Privacy Policy and are provided pursuant to applicable state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

ii. Disclosure and “Sale” or “Sharing” of Personal Information. ReelThrift does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We may “share” limited information with service providers, contractors, or advertising partners strictly for business purposes such as payment processing, analytics, marketing communications, and fraud prevention. All such third parties are bound by contractual obligations prohibiting them from retaining, using, or disclosing information for any purpose other than providing services to ReelThrift. If the Platform introduces targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising in the future, we will update this section and provide a mechanism to opt out as required by law.

We encourage users to review this section periodically for the most current information regarding state-specific privacy rights.

12. Children’s Privacy

ReelThrift is not directed toward or intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or maintain personal information from anyone under 13 years old. If we become aware that a child under this age has registered an account or provided personal information through the Platform, we will promptly delete the account and associated data. Parents or legal guardians who believe their child may have accessed ReelThrift without proper consent should contact us immediately at support@reelthrift.com so that we can take appropriate action.

For teens aged 13 to 17, access to ReelThrift is permitted only when a parent or legal guardian creates, owns, and supervises the account. The parent or guardian must provide accurate identifying and financial information, maintain control of all transactions, and monitor all uploads and communications. By permitting their teen to use the Platform, the parent or guardian accepts full responsibility for any activity conducted through that account and for ensuring compliance with this Privacy Policy, the Terms of Service, and applicable laws.

ReelThrift encourages families to discuss online safety and digital privacy with their children. We also recommend that parents review device-level privacy controls, app permissions, and security settings to ensure that minors’ activity remains appropriate and supervised.

If ReelThrift expands its services in the future to include features intended for younger audiences, we will implement additional parental consent and verification procedures consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and any other applicable child privacy regulations.

13. Third-Party Links and Integrations

ReelThrift may contain links to third-party websites, applications, or services that are not owned or controlled by us. These may include external payment processors such as Stripe, analytics tools such as Firebase, social media platforms, or other services that integrate with our Platform. Clicking on a third-party link or using an external integration may direct you to another website or service that operates under its own privacy policy and terms. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices of these third parties.

When you engage with a third-party service, such as completing a payment through Stripe or logging in through a social media provider, you are providing your information directly to that service, and their collection and use of your data are governed by their own policies. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any external websites or services you access through ReelThrift to understand how they handle your personal information.

ReelThrift may also include features that allow users to share content or interact with external networks or platforms. Using these features may result in information being shared publicly or with the third-party platform depending on your settings and permissions. You should take care when deciding what to share and adjust your device or social-media privacy settings as appropriate.

ALTHOUGH WE CAREFULLY SELECT OUR THIRD-PARTY PARTNERS, REELTHRIFT CANNOT GUARANTEE THE SECURITY OR DATA PRACTICES OF ENTITIES WE DO NOT OPERATE. YOUR USE OF ANY LINKED OR INTEGRATED SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION AND SUBJECT TO THE APPLICABLE THIRD-PARTY’S PRIVACY AND SECURITY TERMS.

These rights supplement the disclosures in this Privacy Policy and are provided pursuant to applicable state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

i. Categories of Personal Information Collected. In the past twelve (12) months, ReelThrift has collected the following categories of personal information, as defined by state law:

We collect this information for the business purposes described in Sections 4 and 5 of this Privacy Policy, including operating the Platform, processing transactions, preventing fraud, maintaining security, and improving user experience.

If the Platform introduces targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising in the future, we will update this section and provide a mechanism to opt out as required by law.

v. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. At this time, ReelThrift does not respond to “Do Not Track” (DNT) browser signals. However, if your browser or device supports a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we will treat it as a valid request to opt out of any future sale or sharing of personal information to the extent required by applicable law.

If we deny your request, you have the right to appeal that decision. To appeal, please reply to our response email with the subject line “Privacy Rights Appeal” and include a brief explanation of why you believe our decision was incorrect. We will review your appeal and respond within forty-five (45) days as required by the CPA. Other State Privacy Rights

In addition to the states specifically identified above, residents of several other U.S. states have enacted or may soon enact comprehensive privacy laws providing similar rights concerning the collection and use of personal information. These rights generally include the ability to confirm whether ReelThrift processes personal data, to access such data, to request correction or deletion of personal information, to obtain a copy of personal data in a portable format, and to opt out of certain processing activities such as targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, or profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

These rights supplement the disclosures in this Privacy Policy and are provided pursuant to applicable state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

i. Categories of Personal Information Collected. In the past twelve (12) months, ReelThrift has collected the following categories of personal information, as defined by state law:

-Identifiers (e.g., name, email address, account credentials, IP address);

-Commercial information (e.g., listings posted, items purchased or sold, payment records);

-Geolocation data (approximate device location, if enabled);

-User-generated content (e.g., videos, photos, listings, communications);

-Inferences drawn from the above to improve or personalize the user experience.

We collect this information for the business purposes described in Sections 4 and 5 of this Privacy Policy, including operating the Platform, processing transactions, preventing fraud, maintaining security, and improving user experience.

If the Platform introduces targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising in the future, we will update this section and provide a mechanism to opt out as required by law.

iii. Your Privacy Rights. Depending on your state of residence, you may have the following rights with respect to your personal information:

-Right to Know and Access – Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, used, or disclosed about you.

-Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Information – Request that we limit our use of sensitive personal information (if collected) to only what is necessary to perform the requested service.

-Right to Non-Discrimination – You will not be treated differently for exercising your privacy rights.

iv. How to Exercise These Rights. You may submit a privacy rights request by contacting us at support@reelthrift.com or by any additional method provided on the Platform. To protect your privacy and security, we may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request. Authorized agents may also submit requests on behalf of consumers, subject to verification. We will acknowledge your request within ten (10) business days and respond within forty-five (45) days, or as otherwise required by law.

v. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. At this time, ReelThrift does not respond to “Do Not Track” (DNT) browser signals. However, if your browser or device supports a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we will treat it as a valid request to opt out of any future sale or sharing of personal information to the extent required by applicable law.

vi. California “Shine the Light” Disclosure. Under California Civil Code §1798.83, California residents who have an established business relationship with ReelThrift may request information once per year about the categories of personal information shared with third parties for direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please contact us at support@reelthrift.com with the subject line “California Shine the Light Request.”

Virginia Privacy Rights (Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act – VCDPA)

If you are a resident of the Commonwealth of Virginia, you have specific privacy rights under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA). These rights provide you with greater transparency and control over how ReelThrift collects, uses, and shares your personal data.

Under the VCDPA, you have the right to confirm whether ReelThrift processes your personal data and to access such data.
